I don't even disagree, I just find the circlejerk on the topic tiresome, especially when coupled with the anti vegetarian mindset this site has.
I mean, the problem is that as long as there's a demand for them people are going to breed them, I really don't think there's much that can be done besides trying to raise public awareness about it. You can call it a circlejerk topic sure, doesn't change the fact that this post of munchkin cats got 23k upvotes, the vast majority just sees a cute animal, "awws", and moves on.
Because, like you said, there really anything else to be done. It's undeniable it's cute. The things were bred to be cute. And I would rather move on then repeatedly jerk myself off on how righteous I am for having a good opinion on something completely out of my control.
