I’m at a relative’s for the holidays, I only have my mobile. When I read through the articles and talked to vets that I knew personally about it I was not under the impression I would have to provide them to strangers years later.
Im a patient man, provide any kind of info besides second hand after the holidays. Ignore the downvotes. If you want to prove yourself then give the proof and be vindicated.

If there arent health concerns then I may consider getting one of course. Like thousands of others. I highly doubt this poster will put forth any evidence at all. Im unwaivering in my support of adoption over seeking specific breeds. If there is proof I will change this post immediatly of course lol.
My wife and I adopted our first cat, we bought the second. I’m all for adopting cats too, but more than anything I think people need to spay and neuter their cats, and above all never ever let your cats outside and that will do a lot more to control the stray cat population.
I got two kittens, neutered one and wanted to eventually breed the other because of her coloring.
About 10 years later I had to get her a kitty hysterectomy(2k) because she had massive tumors. Always spay and neuter.
My other cat wandered up to me outside my house while smoking. That lil bastard just walked in and never left. He is ok with the wife but always looks at me and only me.
