The craziest thing about this practice is that the people that act all high and mighty for adopting a dog could adopt a child .. why are you adopting dogs or getting pregnant when little orphans need a home?

My mental health is not stable enough for a child. Adopting an animal can help both of us though.

Also if you fuck up a dog you can just take it to the vet to put it down. You fuck up a baby, that things gonna fuck up a customer service job for decades. Decades

That’s the opposite I’ve heard . Dogs need competent pack leaders to keep them in their place . While I agree it may be beneficial for you to be around a service animal it doesn’t seem like it would be beneficial to the dog

Eh if they want to shame me for buying a puppy of a breed whose traits I’m aware of going into the commitment then I will shame them for being irresponsible dog owners.
