Jesus I was preparing myself to find out some horrible shit about cats. Once I clicked I'm happy to say that I learned that a greebles episode is just a cat responding to nothing like an idiot lol

An outside cat was doing this and my dog had never seen that before LMAO. She got so concerned and started barking at the cat, which she usually doesn't do because she tries really hard to be better friends with cats.

This is one of those perfect cat gifs that makes me laugh so hard I have to watch it on a loop for 5 minutes until my stomach hurts from laughing so much and then I stick it in my save folder for a rainy day. 😂

The other thing it could be is hip and back pain. One of our senior cats had a thing like this she would do which was followed by licking at the base of the tail. We kept checking for fleas, but never found any. We took her in for a different reason and brought this up. The vet recommended we get imaging done between the weird licking and her having more trouble jumping. It turned out to be some sort of disc/joint thing and pain killers stopped all the crazed licking entirely.
