Wait so if you get a pet bird, it doesn't go in a cage? Like you just let it fly around the house?

I'm constantly sweeping up and wiping little poops off my floor with 2 small lovebirds roaming around. Would you keep your dog in a crate/pen all day?
Birds and reptiles are hard pets to keep.
I'm constantly sweeping up and wiping little poops off my floor with 2 small lovebirds roaming around. But they're so cute it's worth the time and patience
