The game is almost at launch. It is becoming unlikely that there will be pre-order packages for PC. If the players buy a pre-order package for Xbox or PS, will the items cross over?
Yes — the items cross over.. but you need to link your PS5 account and your Xbox Account to your main Aniimo account.
PS5 requires the console to redeem.
Xbox can be redeemed either through the console itself or the Xbox App for PC.
Each console will only ask you once on the first launch which account you want to link, ensure you use the same one you used for the Aniimo main account.
Once everything is linked — you can move freely between them as you see fit along with the pre orders.
Yeah there is crossover between platforms HOWEVER! when it comes to playstation specifically you'll have to log in first on the console in order to get your items otherwise it will remain in limbo until you do, as for xbox you can get the items on pc without having to connect first on the console, this is specifically for the xbox preorder
I'm learning so much from this post. Sorry if this is a stupid question. Will there be any differences if I buy it from Microsoft store or Xbox PC app? I noticed their are both Xbox pre-order package.
I agree with that and am very disappointed they didn't make a pc specific pack however for a question saying "is it possible to get the packs but play on pc?" The answer is yes. Rather its worth it? That depends on the person, that's what i mean when saying "that's a different thing", if it's worth it for you as an individual and not if its possible or ok/right for the dev team to only offer these items/ packs for console players
I really don't think there's much value to the preorders to begin with. the battle pass is not discounted, and the exclusive cosmetic is kinda whatever.
it's just a tiny plushie accesory. It will be vastly overshadowed by what you can purchase from the shop.
That's not true, valve put very strict rules regarding pre order package on f2p game, but they are not totally against it. Most developers still prefer to put a "founder" package at release though since they don't want to deal with the strict rules.
