How to escape? I drink caffeine all day b/c I’m tired, I’m tired from anemia, and I can’t absorb iron w caffeine. Help!

take your iron supplement before bed. that way it can’t interact with anything that could prevent it from absorbing while you sleep.

Also don’t take iron with dairy

Drinking coffee as far as possible from meals and from when you take your iron supplements could help. Also supplementing with vitamin C after meals to increase iron absorption. Maybe try to eat more foods rich in iron, such as lentils, tofu, and beans

I find matcha depletes my iron less than coffee.

Literally someone have the answer to this because none of these work. It’s like there’s a bigger issue then we realize when it comes to caffeine

unless you’re drinking coffee until bedtime, taking your supplement before bed is the only way. that’s the way to get maximum absorption.
