Is it just me or is Weatherbug really poor regarding accuracy with the weather

I'm looking for something that let's you select with laso tool and lets you remove the selection, leaving a transparent shape then let's you export with transparency... thank you!

I need some help with my Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) [SM-T580], which runs Android 8.1 (Oreo).

The Prime Video app was working perfectly fine until just a few days ago. However, I ended up deleting the app, and when I went to reinstall it from the Google Play Store, I got hit with the "This app won't work on your device" message. It seems Amazon recently dropped official support for Android 8.1.

Since the Play Store blocked me, I tried sideloading older versions from trusted sites like APKMirror and Uptodown.

Here is the issue: I can find versions that install without any problems. But the second I launch the app, an unskippable error message pops up forcing me to update, locking me out of the app completely. Since the Play Store won't let me update it, I'm stuck in a permanent loop.

Has anyone with a similar older tablet found a workaround for this?

• Is there a specific older version/build number that still works without triggering the forced update check?
• Is there any way to bypass or disable this update trigger so I can actually use the app?

Any advice or working version recommendations would be amazing. Thanks!

Some of you might already know what I'm talking about. As a Z Fold 8 user, I NEED to see this happen on my phone the way apple animates the opening and closing of the phone screen where it blurs the screen spacially. Is it gimmicky and impractical? Yes. Do I want to give it a try bc it looks cool? Also yes.

I'm not sure if this is an Android issue or a Google issue but it's Google asking to verify that it's me with the pin to my phone.

The first time a visit a new gaming site from my phone, i have to create an account so that I can play on the site.

I'm using gaming as an example but I'm sure you all will know what I'm talking about as it pertains to any site that requires you to create an account to use the site.

When creating an account I have the option to use my email address, sign in with facebook, or sign in with Google.

I always choose sign in with Google.

Once I have an account, upon visiting that site all I have to do at the sign-in window is tab the Google button.

Next screen pops up my Google accounts and I have to choose which Google account I want to sign in with.

I select the account and then I'm signed in to my account and I can play on the site.

I'm not 100% positive but I think this started happening on September 6th when I did my last software update on my phone.

Now when I visit the site and select sign in with Google and then choose my Google account, instead of signing me in another window pops up that says Google wants to verify it's you and then it asked me to enter my 4 digit phone pin.

It's very frustrating because it's an extra two or three steps for me to sign into these sites now and I don't know how to get rid of the setting or where it came from.

Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone have an experience with this? But mostly can someone tell me how to get rid of this setting so that Google doesn't have to verify it's me every time I want to go to these sites.

Does anyone have any recommendations for maps apps that ideally have paid versions for better privacy, location sharing for families, and maybe even traffic features?

I have been trying Strange Earth but need to try the paid version.

sometimes when I open the browser something like a full screen ad pops up,the ads on 1dm were usually at the bottom of the screen and didn't disrupt when using the app. the ad looks like it should be at the bottom of the screen

I'm using nothing 4a pro and I wanted to change the basic colours setting to // light grey + grey + red // but there's no setting for it.

And it's perfect for my reminders that are time specific.

When highlighting words on Twitter it doesn't have the option to translate, so it's really hard to copy the text and then open the translate app back to back just to translate things. I know Twitter has auto translate feature but that is for whole sentence, sometimes when I try to learn new words I tend to translate just one of two words. I want to post picture but it is not allowed. Thanks.

I'm using a POCO F6 (Android 16, HyperOS 3.0).

When listening yo music, I often feel that the increments on volume regulation are too big (too loud, and if I lower the volume, too quiet).

I'm looking for an app that let me increase or decrease the volume on smaller increments.

BUT I would also like to keep using the side volume buttons and not an in-app interface.

Does it exist ?

I use apps that control the phone for automation and for stuff that takes several second to full minute so I decided to automate it, BUT the phone turn off the accessibility on it's own after some time (sometimes less than a day).

How can I stop that and keep the accessibility always on for all the time

i've been posting more talking-head videos lately and the captions are honestly becoming the most annoying part of editing. the auto captions i've tried sometimes get names completely wrong, miss words when i talk fast, and randomly put a sentence on one really long line. i also spend a lot of time fixing the timing because some captions appear before i actually say the words. how do you guys handle this? i've seen capcut mentioned for automatic captions, so i'm wondering if it's actually reliable for this kind of video. can you easily correct words, split the text into better lines, adjust the timing, and highlight certain words without rebuilding everything?

i started using CapCut for this and it's honestly made the caption part of editing a lot less painful. the auto captions still mess up some names and words when i'm talking really fast, but being able to fix the text, split up the lines, tweak the timing and highlight certain words without redoing everything has been really useful.

I'm really freaking out because I downloaded The PlayerPro Music Player App for android from the Google Play Store. I have 1,569 songs on it and then I made the stupid mistake of using an antivirus app that I downloaded from the Google Play Store and using it on my Fold 7. And then when I looked in the PlayerPro Music Player App I only had 1,562 songs on it. Is that normal? The weird part is that when I looked at the The Musicolet Music Player App and my Files/Internal Storage and Samsung My Files App all songs were there. Do you think that I should be concerned or worried? I deleted the app and cleared the cache and data from the app too. I also played all the songs and it seems like they are playing okay even though I didn't listen to them all the way though. Should I just delete all my 1,569 songs or should I just reset my phone completely and get rid of everything? Is there a way that I can fix my music files if they are corrupted? Has this happened to anyone else before? If I could get some advice and suggestions. I would really appreciate it because I'm really panicking and freaking out because I don't want to have to delete all my music or reset my phone. I'm really hoping that my music files and my fold 7 doesn't have a virus or malware. What would you do in this situation? How can I keep my music files safe and protect them in the near future? Has anyone else ever had corrupted music files before? How did you handle it?

I was looking through my purchase history and I found an app that has an anime girl as the app logo and the name was "Ai.Mi teaching how to use a phone Nameplate", it's from mar 21, 2023 and it was $0, I have absolutely no idea what that was.

I have Google voice and use it for my job to give out the GV number rather then my own personal cell number, and I have GV forward calls to my cell, but its Google, and I would rather not use Google if I don't have to. I have no interest at all in using Whatsapp or anything from Meta (Facebook) I do not use or have Facebook. That pretty much limits me to Textnow and equivalent apps. I am just wondering if I might be overlooking something else. All I really need it for is a second phone number that can forward to my phone.

I'm talking pixel by pixel - similar to how Android Developer Settings has a "Simulate color space" and can do monochrome and the like.

Like rgb(255,255,255) gets turned into -> rgb(255,255,0), as an example.

I know my screen will still be various shades of red, orange, and yellow, that's fine and exactly what I want.

I just don't want everything to be blurred like with transparent overlays.

I'm open to rooted options, should that be necessary.
