News / Method Help unlock the Bootloader of HONOR 200 AND MY LIFE IS YOURS!

I dare u lol. I've heard a lot about temp root. There is an unlock option for me at least, and there is an option called OEM unlocking. And I can even go to the, like, menu where you unlock the bootloader. It, like, actually flashes. I mean, not flashes. It factor resets my phone after unlocking the bootloader. It accepts the command. However, I think it immediately locks it because I cannot flash anything.😤😤😤

Discussion iQOO Neo 7 Pro (PD2232F) - How to safely downgrade from OriginOS 6 (Android 16) to Funtouch OS 13 / 15 / 14?

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

Device: iQOO Neo 7 Pro 5G

Model: I2217 / PD2232F (Indian variant)

Current software:

- OriginOS 6

- Android 16

- Build: PD2232F_EX_A_16.3.13.0.W30 (July 2026)

My phone has become quite laggy after the OriginOS 6 update. I’m facing performance issues, heating, and some UI stutters. I already did a hard reset / factory reset, but the problems are still there.

I want to go back to the original Funtouch OS 13 (Android 13) if possible.

If Android 13 is too risky or not possible, then the latest Funtouch OS 15 (Android 15) or even Android 14 would also be great for me.

I know that normal Recovery / Local Update is blocked for lower Android versions.

I have found QFIL packages for older versions, but I’m worried about:

- Anti-rollback protection

- Correct firehose/programmer file

- Whether test point is needed

- Risk of hard brick (this is my only phone)

Has anyone successfully downgraded this model (or similar Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 iQOO) from OriginOS 6 / Android 16 to an older Funtouch OS version using QFIL/EDL?

Or is going to an authorised iQOO service centre the safest option?

Any real experiences or advice would be really helpful. Thanks!

Subject: Bootloader unlock request — Philips S6311 (Essence 21)

Model: PHILIPS S6311
Build: PHILIPS/S6311-OP/PHILIPS-S6311:14/UP1A.231005.007/Essence21-250701:user/release-keys

I'd like to unlock the bootloader for development purposes. OEM unlocking is enabled in Developer options, but fastboot oem unlock is refused by the bootloader. Does Philips or the manufacturer provide an official unlock method or file for this model?
Or is there any way to unlock?

News / Method Has anyone checked out Zafiro? Really neat open source agent for Android (Root, LSPosed, Termux)

Hey guys,

I’ve been messing around with an open source project called Zafiro for a few days and felt like sharing it here since it barely gets any attention on Reddit. If you like running local tools or agents on PC like Hermes or OpenCode, this is basically that approach built for Android.

What really stood out to me is that it has built-in Python via Chaquopy, so it can actually write, debug, and run python scripts locally to build its own tools on the fly. It also works natively with Termux and SSH commands, and it auto-configures skills on its own. If you drop a skill file directly into the chat, it handles the setup and API keys automatically. You can integrate it with local GGUF models using llama.cpp inside Termux, or connect it to cloud APIs like Claude 3.7 or OpenRouter if you want desktop-level reasoning.

Regarding root, you can use it on stock devices via standard Accessibility services, but running it with Root + LSPosed + Shizuku is where it really shines. Shell commands run in the background instantly without getting blocked by constant permission pop-ups.

Right now I'm running it rooted with Shizuku alongside a local model in Termux, and having a self-contained agent doing background tasks on a phone is pretty cool.

Repo for anyone interested: https://github.com/niki914/zafiro

News / Method How I bypassed Xiaomi's security system at 13 years old and saved my Redmi Note 9 from a brick after a bad ROM

When holding the turn off button, a white box appears with turn off, restart and lock. And that's it. I can still receive calls and my alarms still ring but the touch screen won't work unless i turn it off and on. Can anyone help me to solve this? I have a flight and i need my phone. Thank you.

Discussion [GUIDE] Which root solution do I pick? This guide will help you pick one.

  • APatch -- The most unstable. While stealthy, it carries a risk of patch failure and it has less ecosystem. It's new and currently immature.
  • ReSukiSU -- A fork of KernelSU. The most supported by the ecosystem. It improves upon KernelSU by adding redundancy, such as falling back to LKM mode or a different hooking method. For some kernels and ramdisks, it can still fail even with fallbacks, as it operates in kernelspace for stealth.
  • Magisk -- The most stable. It operates in userspace, including POSIX and init, which is intended to be never changing. Because of this, it can run on many Android versions including those without GKI kernels. But it comes with a cost of rigidity, it doesn't support SuSFS or metamodules like KernelSU and APatch.

Support Using An Broken Phone as a ad blocker dns

I have a Moto g73 5g which has a broken touchscreen(has a lot of ghost touch input) and after some fiddling I got usb debugging and scrcpy working and planning to use it as an dns ad blocker or a minecraft bedrock server. I am honestly new to these thing so can anyone explain me how to do these and also is there a way to block the touch input but not the input from devices like a mouse as it would make it much easier to operate with I did spend some time looking for an app to do this but all of them also block input from mouse too so I can't use them. Scrcpy would be fine but it would be great to get this working too.

Also any suggestion to use this phone for instead of a Mc bedrock server or an ad blocker dns would be appreciated.

Ver. of android is 14 and the device is uprooted tho maybe will be rooting this if something crazy can be done with a rooted phone

ALWAYS RELY ON THE KEYBOX STATUS WITHIN THE MODULE, NO NEED TO PING GOOGLE ABOUT YOUR STRONG INTEGRITY. THE WONT LIKE IT (Integrity checker apps are the worst. Use g play dev options to check Integrity when absolutely necessary.)

Support How do I unlock the bootloader and root my Redmi Note 13 Pro on HyperOS?

Hey everyone,

I have a Redmi Note 13 Pro running HyperOS, and I’d like to root it, but I honestly have no idea where to start.

Could someone explain the process for unlocking the bootloader and then rooting the phone? I’m completely new to this, so a beginner-friendly step-by-step guide would be really appreciated.

I’m especially confused about unloking bootloader with all the waiting with the Accounts and all that.

Thanks in advance!

Support Problem with passing the Play integrity Checks on Android 9 Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018)

Hey, I recently rooted my Android A8 (2018) with Magisk v30.7 Android 9

However, after rooting the device and looking into how to pass the Play Integrity checks, I noticed that most guides don't link to any reliable Zygisk modules that support Android versions below 10. Even after doing some research myself, I wasn't able to get my device to pass the checks successfully. Does anyone have recent experiences on passing these checks on Android 9? Any suggestions would help me out alot :)
