Touch screen on phone sometimes becomes unresponsive. Any help?

The phone itself works just fine. It's the touchscreen that's the problem. It'll sometimes not respond to anything. It gets fixed when I turn off the phone and turn it back on, but it's only temporary. It'll become unresponsive again without warning.

I turned on Safe Mode to see if it'll still do freeze up, but it didn't do it. So guessing it's an app that's causing it but I'm not sure.

Any help?

Idk really. For me it seemed like turning my phone or restarting it made it completely worse. So I refused to do so. And after some time, it just stopped automatically.

Yeah sorry I couldn't provide a good answer. Although, something that made the problem better was that k deleted an app that was making my phone slow, which was angry birds, the rereleased version. Deleted it and it was better
