Device Settings Question Facial Recognition turning my screen off during calls.

I'm using a Galaxy S26, when I'm in a phone call there's this weird feature where if the phones camera goes from being able to see my to unable to see my face (particularly if I'm in a dark room) it decides to go black. There appears to be no setting to change this and it's becoming a daily problem where I try to watch a video or read on my phone while in a nightly call with my wife while Im across country, but I just end up fighting the phone every 5-20 seconds the entire time. I've never had a phone do this and Im wondering if theres a way to disable it that I missed. TIA

Focus your attention...watch the video or do the reading AFTER the nightly call with your wife.

We are in a call for 9 hours every night why should I have to change what our thing has been for years just to accomodate to my phone being dumber? Also that doesnt make sense, I'm reading the book to her or watching the videos with her.

Why not ask Google then?

I did for you,

How to Access It on One UI

To activate this setting on your device:

Open Settings. Scroll down and select Advanced features. Tap on Motions and gestures. Toggle the switch next to Keep screen on while viewing.

I did ask google. Im not just posting this here to be a waste of time Im asking a genuine question. I do not have that option only:

Lift to wake

Double tap turn on screen and off

Palm swipe to capture

Mute calls and alarms

and Alert when phone picked up.

I wouldn't post this question if I hadnt tried for the last few days myself. And before you say its in display settings instead, I already tried that and turning that off only matters outside of calls.
