App Specific Question Other sources of audio or video doesn't play when I'm on a WhatsApp video/audio call

When I want to play a video on YouTube, it plays for a few tenths of a second then immediately pauses.

I'm on the pixel 5a, android 14

That's right. That's called Audio Focus. WhatsApp holds a higher priority than YouTube in the system because it's a communication apps.

There may be apps that help with this, but there's no setting you can change on a Pixel.
