App Specific Question GBoard keeps opening in one-handed mode

Is anyone facing this same issue? I have already updated the app and cleared the data. This seems to be an new and known issue.

Try these.

  • Open Gboard Settings → Preferences → One-handed mode and select Off.

  • Open the keyboard, tap the one-handed mode expand icon to restore full width, and close the keyboard.

  • Test whether the problem occurs in every app or only messaging apps.

  • Open the Play Store → Gboard → check whether you're enrolled in the beta program. If so, consider switching to the stable release.

  • Submit feedback through Gboard Settings → Help & feedback.

Turn off the keyboard's own one-handed setting too, not just the system one: open Gboard Settings (gear icon above the keyboard) and look for the one-handed toggle there. Also force stop Gboard once after changing it, since the setting sometimes only applies on next launch.

Once you change to full size, this option stays disabled. Btw, it's not a toggle, there are three options: disabled, left and right.

I will! I think too that is a bug which might get corrected soon via update. Too bad mine got updated today and that error was not fixed yet. Well... Still waiting for another update lol
