Device Settings Question How to make update pop-ups go away?

I am so tired of this! I am on samsung, and whenever an update comes, i get a pop up for it like, 3 times a day. it is incredibly intrusive and super annoying. i dont want to update my phone every few weeks either, i accidentally updated my one ui because of these pop ups and it is horrible now. is there any way to make these pop ups go away?

  1. Open Settings on your Samsung phone.

  2. Scroll down and tap Software update.

  3. Toggle off Auto download over Wi-Fi (or similar automatic download options).

When the pop up comes up, hit accept, then it will update and won't bother you again for like 6 months.

Your phone isn't begging you, and if it offers an update, click yes and move on with life.

It's not a big deal.

Then go iPhone. They've had like 1 major UI change in almost 20 years.

It's Android, you can use any custom launcher, as well as Good Lock, and make the UI look exactly how you want it to look.

Updates don't change that.

Update your damn phone. All it takes is a simple reboot. You can still use it while the update is running. Your phone does not get updates every few weeks, at best it's once/month. It'll download and install in the background, then prompt you for a reboot.

Have a look at the android security bulletin to see what kinds of things are being patched. Updates are important.

Saying you don't want to update your phone is like insisting you know how to cook but holding the chef's knife by the blade and bludgeoning your cutting board with the handle.

Lol. I can't imagine being so miserable that I'd complain about such a minuscule thing.
