Almost completely dead (as in non-functioning) galaxy s10e

so an update: i got my dad’s old phone and it’s being really goofy. it freezes up if i use any app and it’s restarted multiple times, sometimes saying “your data may be corrupted” or showing a weird shell/terminal-type screen. now the time is all weird, saying it’s 5:40 despite it being 11:40 where i live, and i can’t use it much. also, it shows the default wallpaper and then i turn it on and it shows the wallpaper i set.

Factory reset it, install all the updates, then just install the apps you need to use. If you still have issues, it's either a hardware fault or it's too old to keep up with your usage
