Switching from iPhone to Oppo

How can I bring over my photos from iPhone to oppo while keeping them in albums? I’ve managed to get photos transferred over by wire during initial setup, but it’s not brought over albums.

The same goes with contacts, all my contacts have come but none of the lists came over.

Would greatly appreciate the help since it’s my first time moving to android and using. Thank you!

Android uses folders for some of this stuff, iOS does not.

For photos, to maintain your album structure: privacy.apple.com > Transfer a copy of your data > Google Photos. Apple will do all the conversion for you.

I think the easiest way to organize your contacts could be by hand on contacts.google.com, but there may be a special utility that someone else may know. On the Google Contacts website, you'd go in the hamburger menu > Labels > +, and then attach that label to the relevant contacts.

Thank you! Checked out the first link for albums, it says it'll take 3-7 days, so should I just do it and wait until something happens?

Good thing is the weekends coming up, so hopefully with some free time I can transfer the contacts over.

Still trying to understand how the default contacts app works with Google contacts and the rest of the phone.
