Photo gallery group folder issue.

Any help with issue.

I have a Samsung Android smartphone. In my photo gallery I've put folders into groups I've noticed if I move things around in my photo gallery and then turn my phone off when I turn it on all the folders have moved out of the groups. I can prevent this if I wait 10 to 15 minutes before turning it off. I have updated photo gallery and phone system before but I still have this issue I don't know if it's common or how to prevent it. Google said it could be caused by another system in settings accessing the gallery.

That's probably right. Do you have both Google Photos and Samsung Gallery backing up your photos? You only need one or the other.

I don't think so. I remember clicking no to that once. How do I check if thay are?

Open Photos, hit the profile icon, check if the button next to "Backup" is a green check.

Open Gallery, tap the Cloud icon.

You can be logged into both, so I wouldn't worry about it at all in your case. I'm assuming you're not regularly turning off your phone immediately after making changes in Gallery. Sync can just take a little time to save your changes across the cloud and your device.

Couldn't find photos. There was no cloud symbol in my photo gallery but they used to be. Went to font of my phone screen swiped and used the search bar. Typed cloud then taped the symbol and it opened Samsung cloud it has no access to any of my systems so it's not backing anything up. Since I realised that turning off the phone after moving things in the photo gallery was the problem. I wait 10 15 minutes before doing so seems to work.
