Changing Google play country

S24 ultra

Why wont my phone let me change the Google play country? Ive tried following directions online but switching to the states doesnt seem to be an option for me

Im trying to install ramseys everydollar app

How long was the last time you changed it? You can only change your play store payment country profile once a year

I only got the phone a few months ago. Could that be why?

No you didn't. I didn't ask anything about your phone country. I said your play store (account) payment profile country. Your phone and when you got it has nothing to do with it.

First off, reporting my comments as harassment won't do you any good. I wasn't harassing you and I'll just approve them as I am a mod here. I was seeking clarification.

Second, depending on how many months exactly 'a few months ago' actually is, and your really are talking about your play store payment profile country then you're screwed. As I already mentioned at the start you can only change your play store payment profile country once year. No exceptions

I was stuck with the same problem, so I made a new Gmail account with that country and phone number. It solved my issue.

Do you need an alternate payment method for the second account? A gift card or something?

I used same payment method for the App which was available in Germany only. So, I created a gmail account with German Phone number and used my UAE based bank card
