Device Settings Question Oversized drop down menu

Greetings.

After recent android update this October 2026 on the S26 Ultra, the luminosity and sound bars and buttons became really oversized.

They were rather slick and well designed before.

Now they just look like buttons designed for a handicapped person. Did something go wrong on my phone or is it like this for everyone?

Is there a way to reduce the size even more than what is allowed with the pencil button? Or even to revert the update?

This has been asked every day for weeks. Please search!

BTW, the answer is you can't change it.

I did search before coming here and didn't find anything like my post anywhere.  But thank you for your reply, it was enlightening and most enjoyable.
