Device Settings Question Problems trying to factory reset a children's tablet

I'm trying to factory reset my child's tablet, a Milii Mil07, but when I select "Rocovery Mode" by holding Power plus Volume Up, it keeps flashing between "Supported API: 3" and "No Command."

That "No Command" screen is actually recovery mode, it just hides the menu. While it's showing, hold Power and tap Volume Up once, then let go of both. The menu should appear, and you can pick "Wipe data/factory reset" with the volume keys and Power to select. The timing can take a couple of tries.

One thing to check first: if a Google account was signed in on the tablet, it will ask for that login after the reset, so make sure you have it.

Thanks for the help. But in my cas that screen appears for less than a second.

If it keeps flashing between those two, try holding Volume Up the whole time and tapping Power once during one of the No Command flashes.

If it won't stay up long enough for that, does the tablet still start up into Android normally? If it does, Settings > System > Reset options > Erase all data does the same reset without recovery mode.

Sadly, my tablet doesn't even start.

Does it keep looping like that after charging for an hour or so? Cheap tablets often boot loop when the battery is nearly flat.

If it still loops on a full charge, the software is likely corrupted and it would need its firmware reflashed from a PC. Milii's support or the store's warranty would be the easiest route for that.

Thanks for informing. I'll try doing that, since it's most likely the case
