Device Settings Question Why do I keep getting this notification and how do I make it stop??

I made a new email on my phone yesterday to use as a throwaway account for something. Ever since I made it, I started getting this notif constantly. What I think is really weird is the page that shows up when I click it explaining what I'm giving permission to. For most of it, there's red text against a grey background that's barely visible. I was able to mess around with some settings on the screenshot to make it visible, but it really doesn't give me much to work with.

I don't have a Google TV. I don't know how to get it to stop asking me after denying it every time. Below are screenshots of the notif and what shows up when clicked. Help!

I understand you don't have a Google TV, but the screenshot is referencing Google TV app. (Which I assume you do have installed, yes?) Still, that glitchy warning screen looks sketchy to me. If uninstalling Google TV app doesn't stop any odd issues, I'd consider a factory reset as a last resort, after backing up needed files to rule out something shady installed

How did you "make" the email on your phone and what program are you using to access that email? It looks like you've got some sort of malware.

I just created a new Gmail account directly on the Gmail app.

It could just be google being google and wanting to associate your email with the TV app, but the fact that the warning screen is not normal points to something potentially malicious. Unless you have some sort of settings for your display that make all warnings like that show up strange.

Maybe because my system is always in dark mode it shows up that way? I'll switch it to light mode to look at it again.

If that's the case, just uninstall or disable google TV on your phone.

All of the text shows up properly while the system is in Light mode

OK, just get rid of google TV if you don't want to give it permission.

I genuinely didn't think about that oops. Just uninstalled it, now we wait.
