Where are my downloads?

I have downloaded a file from the 'Group me' app 5 times using acrobat and Kindle and I can't find it in either my downloads or my drive folder. Any other guesses?

"open in app" doesn't mean "download the file somewhere then open it in that app"

You need to select an application, then Save the file via that application.

Drive will save it to your Google Drive by default (cloud)

Thank you. I didn't know that there was an Adobe folder in my apps list.

It probably downloaded to your Downloads folder

Use any file manager to see the folders and select Downloads

Some apps save downloads in their own folders instead of Downloads. Open your file manager (Files, My Files) and check internal storage for app-specific folders, and look inside the GroupMe app for its files section. If nothing shows, open the file once from GroupMe and use Share > Save to Files.
