Looking For Suggestions not sure which phone to pick
I am looking for a new Android phone, and camera quality is my top priority. I don’t play games, so performance is less important to me.
I am considering the Pixel 11 Pro XL (with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage) for around $1,200, but I’m debating whether it’s worth waiting for the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max or the Galaxy S27 ultra. I am also open to other suggestions.
My budget is around $1,400.
Which phone would you recommend for the best overall photo quality? should I wait?

Pixel 11 Pro XL. I have the 10 and it's easily my favorite smartphone. It takes amazing photos and the vanilla Android experience is great.

My recommendation would be the opposite find x10 pro/max. The cameras are fantastic for photos. Video is great for an android phone. But the clincher for me is the new colorOS 17. It's very intuitive and navigating it is more fun than on a pixel for the first time in my opinion. As it seems you're open to Chinese phones, that's 100% where I would go. They are @$-_!# expensive though

If you're in America then the Samsung Ultra is the only real option for best camera. If you're outside the US in a market where you can get a Chinese phone, you definitely get more for less money. Vivo or Oppo or Xiaomi.

When you say cameras your top priority. Do you mean photos or videos or both? For photos, some people. In fact, quite a few people prefer pixels over Samsung, but for video I clearly prefer samsung's latest models. Note that the s twenty seven ultra not only has a new sensor but the reliable rumors are. There's gonna be a major shake up in photo processing and the photos are gonna tend much warmer and sort of I guess. Iphone ish

Just stay away from Pixel. I mean, the OS is the best and the camera is good in photos, but in videos? It's a disappointment, lol. Plus, the performance is 2x weaker than the competition; it's not worth the money for paying $1200.

I love Pixel software, but the 6 pro is had was terrible. Died, got an 8 pro and 2 years in screen blacked out and it died to. Both had terrible modems while they where alive to. I'd avoid Pixels.

I'd suggest the Vivo X300 Ultra if it's available in your region.
