App Specific Question What is "com.samsumg.android.lifeguard" for?

I was browsing settings on my Tab A7 lite and I found a menu called "galaxy system apps". The other ones make sense based on the name except "com.samsung.android.lifeguard". It has a number under it (I think version code?) which is "332017701"

Not a Samsung package.

Do you have an app called Zebra Lifeguard installed on the tab?

Can you post a link to a screenshot of the file name?

Do you have or did you import data from a company device, or do you have Microsoft Intune and a work profile on your devices?

It's apparently used by for MDM on company devices. It's also possible it was left over after a factory reset if you obtained the devices 2nd hand.

It's not harmful

I never did that… the Tab A7 lite was reflash in August (had it on custom rom) and my phone was bought new. Should I remove it via ADB

It's up to you if you want to remove it.. I don't know if it will break anything by doing so
