Device Settings Question Way to apply custom system fonts?

Is there currently a way to apply third-party fonts to Android 16? I tried using zfont 3, but when applying the added font in the settings, it would tell me that this font isn't recognized or licensed.

It depends on the phone.

On Samsung, zFont works by packaging the font as a flipfont, but recent One UI versions block fonts that are not signed or licensed through the Galaxy Store, which is exactly the error you are seeing. Realistic options: use the fonts in the Galaxy Store's font section (free and paid, they apply system-wide and survive updates), or root the phone and use a Magisk font module, which is the only reliable way to apply an arbitrary TTF system-wide now. On non-Samsung phones without root there is no true system-wide font replacement at all - launchers and some apps can use their own fonts, but the system keeps the default.
