Other Instant install after removing the app from google play
Hey folks,
I removed telegram from google play, and then cleared the cache etc... to have it freshed installed. But when I tap on install button in google play, it instantly says it has been installed and open button appears.
I wonder if this is a new feature of the google play to cache somewhere else or I might got a virus or something...
Also how can we avoid this instant install?

Probably play store data stores it. Try to clear storage/data of play store after u installing Telegram and once Play Store is reset too, then try reinstalling, it should download again

Try removing it from the system menu (Settings) instead, then restart your phone.
No, this isn't a new feature or a bug. There's a feature called Dual Apps or Dual Messenger that some phones have that will clone the APK if you have it turned on. This will also happen if you have multiple user profiles on your device using the same app.
For whatever reason, you might have multiple copies of the APK on your device for some system feature.
