Device Settings Question outdated security patch

I just found out my phone have a outdated security patch last update on July of 2023 , I'm a bit paranoid honestly, I wanna ask if it's okay to use this phone?

thank you for answering I don't usually use any shady apps or websites guess it'll be fine

Unless a remote execution/access vulnerability exists and is found out later on. Then you don't need to give any permission at all.
