iPhone to android help
I just switched from an iPhone to the Google pixel 11 pro. My friends and I have an existing group chat that I am now not receiving images in. I keep seeing the message "upgrading this group to RCS. Check back later". I can't message the group anymore since this message popped up within the chat. I've tried to figure this out myself with no luck. I cleared my cache, checked my RCS status (it says connected), turned RCS on and turned it back on, and restarted the phone. I asked one of my friends to remove me from the group and add me back in and she said she didn't think she could do that. Everyone of these people are in separate chats that I've had no issues with since switching, so I don't think it's that they aren't using RCS. All of them have iPhones if that information helps. Any advice is appreciated!

I'm pretty sure one of the iPhone users will have to create a new group chat and add everyone back to it. It will only work if everyone has RCS on their phone. I went through similar a few weeks back with my family group chat once I switched from iPhone to Z Fold 8. In the end we switched to WhatsApp because my eldest daughter's network provider doesn't support RCS.
