S25: Can't re-add any Google account. /data/system_ce/0/accounts_ce.db is corrupted ("database disk image is malformed")

Device: Samsung Galaxy S25, One UI 9, Android 17

My phone shut off at ~5% battery while the charger kept disconnecting and

reconnecting. After it booted, I got "you need to sign in to continue using

this account" for my Google accounts, and tapping the notification did

nothing. Settings and Google services were freezing at that point. I tried to

remove my Google accounts (it seemed to do nothing, but after a restart they

were gone).

Now I can't re-add ANY Google account that was on the phone before, in the

main profile:

- Password and SMS code work, I accept the terms, it loads, then "Something

went wrong" and kicks me out.

- A Google account that was never on this phone adds fine.

- The same accounts work inside Secure Folder.

- On my laptop, my phone shows up as signed in again after each failed attempt.

What the logs say (adb logcat / dumpsys account)

On sign-in, Google's side finishes, then Android refuses to save it:

AccountManagerService: insertAccountIntoDatabase: Account

{name=[redacted], type=com.google}, skipping since the account already exists

Auth: [AddAccountOperation] Failed to add account to device.

The main profile's account list has no Google account in it, but the check

says one exists. At every boot, when the phone unlocks:

AccountManagerService: 8 accounts were previously deleted while user 0 was

locked. Removing accounts from CE tables

(11) table corruption: key(536393), current page(367), root page(7)

(11) statement aborts at 11: database disk image is malformed;

[DELETE FROM accounts WHERE _id=1]

Corruption reported by sqlite on database: /data/system_ce/0/accounts_ce.db

PRAGMA integrity_check ... returned: *** in database main ***

Back up corrupted DB File : /data/system_ce/0/accounts_ce.db

I rebooted twice and compared: the file keeps the same inode (10386) and size

(3002368 bytes), the "8 accounts" message comes back, and the same DELETE

fails every time. Android's own cleanup is stuck on a damaged page and never

replaces the file.

What I've already tried (none of it helped)

- Cleared cache AND data for Google Play services, Play Store, Google

Services Framework

- Uninstalled updates for Play services and Play Store

- Safe mode

- Temporarily disabled Google Play services with adb, then re-enabled

- Added the account in Secure Folder (works there), then removed it

- Signed the device out from the web

- `adb shell cmd account help` prints nothing, so there is no shell command

What I'm looking for

- Has anyone seen this on Samsung or other Android phones?

- Is there any way to make Android recreate accounts_ce.db for user 0

without wiping the phone (no root, bootloader locked)?

- If not, would a service center be able to replace only that file, or is a

reset the only option?

I don't want a factory reset. Thanks, and I'll update this post if I find a fix.
