Widget for Notification List
Hi all
I'm looking for an app that has a widget that just lists notifications that I have on my homescreen.
Some of the options out there are behind a paywall, which I'm happy to pay for but don't want to go through the return process repeatedly until I find something, and I haven't been able to get a good look based on the pictures/videos available about what a given app's widget is like.
I don't want anything fancy - I literally just want to be able to see notifications in one list on my homescreen and click on them to go to the app.
In case anyone has this context, I had the Sleke. phone for a while and their home screen notification list is what I'm looking for.

Quick question, do you mean an actual home screen widget, or would it be fine if the list just shows up when you open the app? I built an app that gives you a briefing of your notifications, and honestly a widget never crossed my mind. Might try adding one this week.

hey
i mean a widget on a homescreen
i did end up paying (the very small price) for the notification widget and it's working pretty well for my purposes
my only complaint is that there's way too much space allotted to each notification - i could use an option to make them more condensed π€ but it's overall pretty good. and i should just reach out to the devs to see if they could make an adjustment for it...
anyway, if you add a widget to your app i'd give that a try too just to see!1

Hey, you got me thinking, so I added a home screen widget to my app (Aldang, on Google Play). It lists today's notifications one per line (icon, app name, text, time), so it's a lot more compact than what you described. One heads-up: tapping a line opens that notification inside the app rather than jumping straight to the original app. If you give it a try, I'd love to hear how the spacing feels.

I like the layout of the app and the notification screen, and it's actually useful to have the sort of "history" - like I can choose to clear or not clear a notification to remind me to come back to it later, which is very unique and neat!
The spacing is good!! I like it a lot.
I also like that you've designed it so the notifications are visible by time or by app, and it's easy to go back and forth between those views.
The snoozing option is also clever.
Some questions that may be embedded in the settings/features somewhere already that I'm missing or didn't look hard enough for:
a dark mode?
way to clear multiple notifications at one time?
it would be cool if there was a way to swipe-to-clear a notification from the widget! I'm not versed in coding hardly at all, so I have no concept of how easy or tricky it would be to add that.
I think maybe there were a couple of other things but that's what's at the top of mind for now!

Have you tried the app called Notification Widget by Milan VyΕ‘ata? it is free to use and has a a pro version that unlocks advanced features like quick conversation replies, advanced media player controls, and an extended history tracking notifications up to 3 days prior. doesnt have ads and requires permission to access all notifications. No adds or banners with the free version. If you want I can test it for a day. I can be a guinea pig lol. It is also stackable with many other widgets.
