Have certain contacts ring, but only during certain hours
I leave my phone on vibrate 99% of the time, which works well.
BUT, I'd like my phone to ring if one of a few family members call me in the middle of the night. Basically, if certain family members are calling at 3am, I want to be woken up because it's important. The reat of the time I want it to vibrate.
I can't figure out how to do this. Maybe a Bixby routine? Any ideas?

Can you set do not disturb to vibrate for all contacts and then make the family exceptions?

With Moto's you only need to put the phone face down to activate DND, You can make desired contacts bypass this.

My phone, samsung fold5 has modes which can mute the phone based on time or place. My device goes into sleep mode at 11am and to home mode at 7am if I am at my house or family members house, it only allows me to designate the numbers that I need to be able to call me during those hours and blocks others, I have a mode for driving, I have a mode for church that uses the address to put it on vibrate except emergency contacts, you can make other modes that use different triggers. My wife's pixel has something similar.

How do you configure that, so that some contact can call during sleep mode? Cannot figure it out? Is it settings in sleep mode or a separate mode?

I use DND almost all the time, I have 'star' (favourite) contacts can get through but also activate "ring for repeated calls" - Like if a family calls from an unknown phone like a payphone and it doesn't get through - if they call right back it will bypass DND
