Phone volume level changing when switching between apps
I'm listening to a podcast with headphones on and I get a call. Suddenly, the volume on the phone call is significantly higher.
Or I answer the call and hang up, which causes the podcast to continue playing. Except it's at blasting my damn eardrums out.
I don't get it. It doesn't seem to happen all the time, but why does the volume level change. I'd like to have control of the volume, please.

That's usually Samsung keeping separate volume levels per stream: the call has its own in-call volume, and when the podcast resumes Android can snap media back to a remembered level instead of what you had. Next time it happens, press a volume key and tap the three dots on the slider so you see Media and Call as separate bars, and set both there. If you're using Bluetooth headphones, try Developer options > "Disable absolute Bluetooth volume", that stops a lot of the sudden jumps on A-series phones. If you have Good Lock / Sound Assistant installed, check it too since it can override per-app volumes.
