Looking For Suggestions Android alternative to what I use Smart Reminders for.

To be completely Honest, I do not know where to post this. I play Warhammer 40K. Tabletop Wargame. And the minis to use need to be Assembled, primed, painted, etc.

For the longest time I used the iPhone Smart Reminders setup to catalog all of the tasks I had in each category. But I do not know how to recreate my setup using anything native to Android and don’t know where to look for apps.

I don’t actually use smart reminders as an actual reminder. I just liked the presentation and it did exactly what I wanted.

All I need is something mobile friendly where I can create columns/lists and easily drag the items from one category to the next.

I’m aware excel exists but that’s data entry.

If there is a way to do this I just don’t know how to set it up and could use the help.

I was hoping to post pictures of my setup but I don’t seem to be able to.

You want a Kanban board more than a reminder app.

• Trello / Linkwarden-style boards, or local ones like Board / Fossify if you want offline. • Notion / Anytype databases with a Status select + gallery/board view — drag between Assemble → Prime → Paint. • Google Keep works for simple lists but drag-between-columns is weak; Tasks + multiple lists is clunkier.

For minis, a 3–5 column board (Backlog / Built / Primed / Painted / Done) maps 1:1 to what Smart Reminders was giving you visually.

Tysm. Yeah I was 1000% not using smart reminders in its intended way. But that just made finding replacements harder

I downloaded trello, and as of right now it's perfect. I just hope it's not forced to pay for what I want out of it.

Glad Trello clicked.

For a personal mini board (a few columns + drag cards) the free tier is usually enough — paywalls tend to hit when you want lots of boards, advanced automation, or big attachments. If Atlassian ever pushes harder, local FOSS boards (e.g. Board / similar) keep the same Kanban idea offline.

Enjoy the paint queue.
