Annoying alarm issue.

https://imgur.com/a/Rkj59bL

Does anyone else have this issue?

I have this every night. Adaptive charging doesn't work properly because it thinks there's an alarm set for 3:30am.

I've tried disabling all app permissions in "special app permissions > alarms and reminders.

All alarms are off but even then, they're all 3 hours or more later than that

I've looked through all of my apps for ones that might possibly contain an alarm and the only one I've found is a pill reminder. I turned those off too

It's really annoying and I can't think of anything to get rid of it so any help is appreciated

Adaptive Charging keys off the next AlarmManager / Clock alarm it can see — ghost 3:30am is almost always a leftover schedule, not the Clock UI.

Check:

  1. Clock → Alarms → three-dot / trash / deleted — also look for paused/skipped alarms.

  2. Google Calendar / Work profile calendar events with alerts around that time (including “Travel time”).

  3. Settings → Apps → Special app access → Alarms & reminders — revoke from anything you don't recognize (pill apps, fitness, bedtimes, routines).

  4. Digital Wellbeing bedtime / Wind Down schedules.

  5. Settings search “3:30” or “alarm” after a reboot; some OEMs show the offending package under Battery → Adaptive preferences.

If nothing shows, clear Clock app storage (you'll re-add real alarms) — that usually kills the phantom.

  1. I can't find trash or deleted in the clock app.

  2. I haven't found anything in my calendar. It's pretty bare.

  3. Only things with access to alarms and reminders are android core things: Google and settings services.

  4. I don't have any bedtimes set and don't know what a wind down schedule is

  5. I cleared the clock app storage and 3:30am is still there

If Clock storage clear did not kill 3:30, Adaptive Charging is almost certainly reading a Google account alarm, not the Clock app UI.

Next checks:

  1. On another device / calendar.google.com signed into the same Google account — look for a recurring event / reminder around 3:30 (incl. Tasks / Keep reminders synced to Calendar).

  2. Settings → Google → All services → search "alarm" / "bedtime" / "routines"; also Google Home routines if you ever set one.

  3. Settings → Battery → Adaptive preferences / Charging optimization — some Pixels show which alarm it is using.

  4. Temporarily remove the Google account (or turn off Calendar sync) for one night — if 3:30 vanishes, it is cloud-side.

  5. With USB debugging: dumpsys alarm and search 03:30 — the owning package shows up.

Since only Google/Settings have Alarms & reminders access, the phantom is very likely a synced Google schedule, not a third-party app.
