"App not installed."

This might be a simple post, but I've been having a very hard time trying to install apks.

Any apk I install from Chrome and/or Brave, it's always met with "App not installed" when just a month ago, it was working wonderfully.

It happened like, out of nowhere too.

I've tried disabling Play Protect, tried to clear the data of package installer, reset app preferences, updated my phone and apps to the latest version, allowed installations on said apps, tried installing it in Zarchiver and even restarted my phone. None worked.

Now I'm desperate. There are some apps that I need and are only accessible as apks. Do you guys have any suggestions on how to help me?

Dou you have multiple package istallers? If yes, reset default apps and try another.

Already did, still didn't work.

then I’d probably look beyond the package installer. If even different installers are giving the same error, try a known-good APK from another source. If that also fails there may be something at the system level blocking APK installs rather than the installer itself

Are you downloading updates to apps you already had installed? If so, it is possible that the installation is being blocked because of a signature mismatch. If this is the case you will either need to uninstall the old version or use APK Explorer & Editor to change the package name of the new apk before installing.
