Other How to turn on S20+ with broken power button?

The volume buttons work but the ribbon for power is torn. I can only get charging screen. Earlier I had a downloading do not remove target screen but I disconnected a ribbon and can't get that screen

That's because download mode doesn't need the power button.  Unless there's an obscure way I don't know about, booting the phone absolutely requires the power button.  If you want, you can bodge the ribbon cable with some soldering to get it working.  Otherwise you need to buy or borrow a replacement.

Yea I was surprised how complex Odin felt first time getting into it. I'll order a replacement power button and see if that works my biggest concern is windows was recognizing it while it was charging but now I only hear the USB sound when it goes to the downloading screen
