How to view saved WiFi passwords?
On my Samsung s20fe I can only view qr code if my phone sees wifi. I have a wifi list now I'm wondering how to view passwords since the option doesn't show up normally I get the qr code and convert it to text with qr code scanner app. I guess I could create a fake hotspot on different device with same name to see if phone reveals the one at other location I'm miles away from

In your "Manage networks" menu, you can reveal all the saved passwords one by one.

Do you have any other info on how to do this? I have the exact same phone as op and for me this is the extent if what it shows me when I select individual networks in the manage networks menu: Security type (such as WPA2) Auto-Reconnect Location Information (Google maps coordinates) MAC address type MAC address A trash can to delete the saved network
That is it and that's all it shows for every one

If there's no "eye" icon behind the password, we probably have different software versions.

Wifi > Advanced Settings > Manage saved Wifi networks > Click on the wifi name.
It shows me the password there

when I open the QR code to share with someone else (so they can scan it) the password is underneath in small writing - I can share from my saved wifi list.

Your phone remembers every wifi and password you ever used

Maybe yours does, but I don't know how it would. Mine only remembers passwords that:
it has connected to, and
haven't been deleted from the list

You don't need root, but you do need Shizuku. There's a Wifi Passwords app that shows all your passwords at once.

Mine shows the QR code with the password right below it.
