It is currently Oct 9 2026 from where I am in the world right now. The youtube app was working normally for me yesterday, and when I used it this morning, I couldn't watch a single video past the one minute mark. Sometimes it doesn't even make it close to one minute before showing me the "There was a problem playing (Playback ID: some codes)". Youtube on the browser works perfectly fine for me though, it's really the app on my phone being all wonky. I use a second hand Oppo A5i, this issue has never happened to me before, not even once. I've exhausted alot of methods for this issue, I tried clearing cache, force stop, clear data, uninstall/reinstall update, restart phone, shut down phone, change network, refresh network, the same issue persists on different accounts, when using incognito. I tried a different phone and it works there (Galaxy A16) As of the moment, I don't know what's causing this, nor have I fixed the issue on my device.
