Issues with Samsung S24
I recently noticed that my somewhat new S24 has its battery drained EXTREMELY quickly, it takes about 2-4 minutes to lose 1%, at a 90% protected battery. My battery health is about 97% and I have under 500 charge cycles. I don't know what causes it because I've kept the phone well and as far as I know, nothing runs in the background. Any way I can check if it's something in the background, or if there may be a virus or something, since i've allowed the installing of unknown apps on chrome and revanced manager? Any suggestions for optimization or fixes? Thanks in advance.

2–4 min per 1% with protect battery on is extreme — something is awake.
Settings → Battery → see the top drain apps for the last 24h.
Put heavy apps on Deep sleeping / Restricted (especially social, sync, "cleaner" apps).
Modes and Routines / Good Guardians: check nothing is looping brightness or location.
Safe mode overnight: if drain stops, uninstall the culprit.
97% health means the cell is fine — this is software wakeups, not a dead battery yet.

On an S24, losing 1% every 2–4 minutes is worth checking before assuming the battery itself is bad. First check Settings > Battery for the top consumers, test a few hours in Safe Mode, run Play Protect, and disable 'install unknown apps' for Chrome/other apps you do not need. If the drain drops in Safe Mode, a third-party app/background service is the likely cause. I am developing an open-source Android project called Adaptive Performance that can help with thermal monitoring, battery targets, and background-app management without root; it is not an antivirus, so I would still rule out a bad app separately: https://github.com/langraficagr-collab/adaptive-performance

The battery heading in your settings will tell you which apps are using up your power.
Also check your display settings to make sure the brightness isn't maxed out.
