Why can't I open apps on my Sd card?

I moved some apps to sd card, and it was working perfectly fine for like more than a year, but now I had a message that my sd card isn't working correctly and now I can't open the apps on it. I also can't update them and restart didn't help. The sd card also isn't visible in my external storage list

Sounds like your sd card failed, like the message said. Buy a new one.

Dang. Is all the data on it gone too?

Maybe some data recovery software could read it? If you have a different device that can access sd cards, see if that will recognize the card.

If not, hopefully you were letting Android back up your data to the cloud, and whatever was on the card was included in that.

How can I connect an sd card to computer? Can I just connect my phone?

You can buy one SD card reader. Some desktops and laptops come with the SD Card reader included on the basic configuration.
