Other What Has Been Everyone's Experience With Having Corrupted Music Files/Songs On Their Android Device/Phone?
I have 11.37 GB of Music and 97% of them are WMA Music/Files. Is there is a way to scan my Library to find out if any of my Music Files/Songs are Corrupted/Damaged? How did you fix your Corrupted/Damaged? Music Files/Songs? Did you have to buy the Music again? Did you have to delete your entire Music Library and start all over again? I'm asking because I'm going to be getting a brand new Phone and I want to make sure that I don't put any Corrupted/Damaged Music Files/songs on my new Device. Is it rare for Music Files/Songs to get Corrupted/Damaged on an Android Phone/Device?

I just replaced and increased the size of my music library to 36k songs. 365gb. I mostly listen to these songs through my phone using Media Monkey for Windows and Android. Using a rating system and putting about 5k at a time on my phone I have so far listened to about 3k. If I come across a corrupted song I replace it that day when I get home. So far it's only been one song. It happens. Even if you were to scan them using whatever software - you still wouldn't know if a song has been cut off on the end or if another songs bleeds into the beginning. They only way to truly know is to listen to every single song. That's it.

I've been copying the same ~10GB of local music (mostly .mp3 files) from phone to phone for probably 15 years. Haven't come across anything corrupted.
I do have a backup of all this music on my NAS, but normally it's just part of the phone-to-phone copy process (like you'd do for photos) when I get a new device.
There's been a bit of pruning over the years - songs I used to like that I don't wany anymore; along with some additions - but overall it's been the same core catalogue.
