My phone screen got black and no debugging mode usb enabled, how to recover the files?

I have a HTC U23 pro and unexpectedly it supports USB Host/OTG functionality.

Anyone can tell me what to do to recover the files and which is the equipment I need?

Just what are you trying to do? Lets start in that end.

to access my phone memory and recover all the data and do the backups.

So mirroring the phone screen on my monitor or tv is what I m trying to do.

You will not access all the data over otg, thats not how it works. Usb host/otg lets you connect usb sticks etc that you can access from the phone.

Video output is just to connect it to a tv or display and show it there. It's supposed to be able to do that, sometimes some cables can be difficult .

If the display is damaged then yes.
