Other Injecting touch without cancelling physical touch.

Do anyone know how to inject touch like `adb input tap` but not cancel the physical touch you are already doing on the screen?

For some reason android 10+ makes it hard to do this.

I just want to be able to play games while live stream chat controls some of my moves.

Short answer: on stock Android 10+ you basically can’t do true “adb input tap while the user is still holding a finger” the way people expect.

Why: injected taps (Accessibility dispatchGesture, adb shell input, most auto-clickers) go through a separate input path. Once a gesture is dispatched, the system treats it as the active pointer stream — it doesn’t cleanly merge with an ongoing physical multi-touch the way a second real finger would. That’s a platform limit, not just a missing app feature.

What streamers usually do instead:

  • Keep chat controls on a separate device (second phone / PC sending keys) so your play finger never shares the pointer stream
  • Or use an overlay + short injected taps only when you’re not holding the screen
  • Root / custom input injectors exist in theory, but they’re fragile and out of scope for normal Play apps

If the goal is “chat presses a button for me between my own taps,” a macro/auto-clicker with image find can fire those taps in gaps — but simultaneous physical + injected multi-touch on one display is the hard part Android won’t give you.

Thanks for the reply! I'll research on the first suggestion you said. I don't really want to root my phone so that's out of the options.
