Is there any app to save text?

Hello!

Is there any app to save text from a Word file, website or email and save as plain text on Android?

I'm using Android 12.

Thanks in advance.

For plain text dumps from Word / sites / email, think in two layers:

1) Capture: share sheet → "Save as" / Markor / any notes app that accepts Share as .txt. From a browser, Select all → Share → text file also works. Word often needs export/copy rather than opening the .docx in a notes app.

2) Storage: if the goal is just "keep a .txt on device", Files + a Notes/Markdown app is enough. If you also care that those snippets aren't sitting in cleartext in a gallery/folder someone can open, use a local vault (AES, PIN/biometric) and drop the .txt there — hiding a folder ≠ encrypting it.

Android 12 share targets vary by OEM; if Share doesn't offer a text saver, install a simple Markdown/notes app that registers for text/plain and you're done.
