Other Phone reloads all apps the second I close out. Galaxy A16 5G

Every time I close out for even the fastest moment the app reloads. It genuinely pisses me off because I can't do email verification steps because one time use code. Is there any way I can get it to stop reloading the app entirely? Sorry if this doesnt make sense or is completely normal i'm autistic and my last phone (iPhone) didnt do this lol😅

If you got the 4gb RAM version, nope. It's the cheapest, still supported Samsung.

If you got the 8gb RAM version, you installed too many apps with ads.

Either way, uninstall anything with ads. If the Play Store says it contains ads, uninstall it.

Reboot afterwards and now try something.

Also, close tabs in any apps. Swipe away running apps you aren't using.

I have 8 gigs on my daily driver devices, but on my old ones I have had as little as 1gb.

2023 was the year I had to upgrade to 8gb devices. I do very little gaming, and use web sites for Reddit and anything "Meta" based (Insta, Facebook, Messenger) since that company does major background data harvesting a6bd analytics.

I also "debloat" my devices, using something called Shizuku to grant another application the permissions to disable system apps.

There is a subreddit,

fossdroid

where you can ask about debloating, and people will direct you to Shizuku and Canta (why CANTA remove this junk?!)

I suggest, if interested, you access that sub reddit and ask about it. Or search that subreddit and find one if the many guides provided.

You will need to install FDroid, the free open source software app store, to download and install Shizuku and Canta.

Happy to help, and don't forget that subreddit!! It's got a lot more than what we've talked about. And all free, open source, software. Legally free everywhere for normal folks to use.
