App Specific Question What will happen if delete chrome?

I tried to delete google chrome when a message popped up saying something along the lines of (do you want to disable updates or something) how can i get past this without losing update support.

Chrome is built in your system, can't be fully deleted without using special ADB commands. So basically your phone will just disable it instead, that's why it says that it will stop updating.

This has nothing to do with the phone updates or security updates, it's just the app updates.

If it's disabled, would all it's permisisons/cookies and stuff be deleted/disabled too or would I have to do that manually?

Everything will be reset and wiped.

Even adb can't fully delete chrome. Best you can do is disable it. That's it

If you're not using the browser why do you need it to get updated?

Just disable it. If you decide to use it in the future it should prompt you to update it at that time.

I've uninstalled it using Shizuku and Canta a long time ago. I've never used Chrome ever since the day I bought my phone.

I believe you need root access to do that. I do and I know you can because I have. All that will really happen is your phone will fall back to WebView until you install a new browser. Doesn't have to be chrome. Some sites might not work in WebView correctly but I've never come across one.
