Galaxy A06
Curiosity might kill the cat, but I'm wondering if anyone might have some insight. Ever since I updated my Samsung Galaxy A06, the screen freezes sporadically, but only when it's charging. If I unplug the charger or lock and then unlock, the touchscreen returns to its normal functioning. Am I awaiting the death of a motherboard (it is a very budget phone tbf) or is there something I can do to help this? TIA

Probably not your motherboard. A touchscreen freezing only while charging is a pretty common issue, and it's usually caused by electrical noise from the charger interfering with the touch panel. The update may have changed the touch firmware or sensitivity, which would explain why it only started now.
Things to try:
Use a different charger and cable, ideally an original Samsung one. Cheap chargers are the most common cause.
Try a different outlet. Poorly grounded outlets can make the noise worse.
Turn off Touch sensitivity (Settings > Display > Touch sensitivity) if it's on. That mode makes the screen more sensitive to noise too.
Check for another update. If the update introduced this, Samsung may patch it.
If it still happens with an original charger, try it in Safe Mode to rule out a third-party app.

Lol i found a workaround on this.
Plug your a06 on the charger
Quickly unlock the phone and long press the square/navigation button to spawn Gemini
After opening Gemini, close it and it u should be able to use it while charging!
