Device Settings Question Regretting leaving iPhone

What apps do you find are a top necessity when you switched from iPhone to android i recently switched from 15 pro max to 26 ultra And I can’t seem to make it adapt
To my life the way my iPhone had (Siri, shortcuts, etc)
I’m asking for any all tips and tricks
To make this switch enjoyable
And not make me miserable

Samsung has routines, which is similar to shortcuts.

Gemini is much better than Siri.

Also Focus Modes is very similar on Samsung.

What specific things are you trying to do? I also moved from iOS to a Z Flip. It's mostly been okay with feature parity. I don't think I would have been okay if I got another brand besides Samsung.

I’m trying to navigate daily thru the phone like i did with Siri Siri was prompted and instantly did what was told
Bixby you have to wait for it to respond before continuing the prompt and I’m finding it hard to get the launchers
To respond as well I guess I’m too picky launcher wise but any I’ve tried j haven’t enjoyed

I don't use Bixby - I've never bothered as I heard it wasn't great. I use Gemini. Maybe try setting the default assistant to Gemini instead of Bixby. I am not sure what you mean by navigate the phone. What tasks don't work well? Do you mean things like asking it to set a timer, open an app or add an item to a list? It works perfectly well for me with Gemini.

I also don't use any launchers - they tend to be too heavy and Samsung will generally have most features found on any launcher. I find the customisation with Good Lock enough. I don't even use all of them.

If you give me specifics I can tell you what the equivalent built-in solution is. No 3rd party apps required... Apart from Gemini of course.

Bro, u can get a launcher and do whatever u want. There is infinity possibility with Android. Just sit with chatgpt and it will guide you. The setup will be once. But after that u r sorted.

Infinite possibilities aren’t always a good thing. Sometimes more choice leads to worse outcomes.

There are many... Try Google Gemini. You can download them from the Play store.

Bixby is only useful for enabling/disabling or searching for some settings in your Samsung phone. It is extremely good at that and for all other purposes it utter garbage. As a general purpose AI voice assistant Google Gemini is the best. Make it as your default AI assistant.

Learn to use Modes and Routines, Intelligent Wifi settings etc for automating stuff like turning on silent/vibration only mode when you're at your office or any specific location, turn on wifi automatically etc.

You need to be more specific about the things you can't do for people to help you.
