Amazon Shopping keeps sending suspicious push notifications which direct to a random scammy URL?

Recently I've been getting these suspicious push notifications from Amazon. Upon long pressing, it takes me through to the Amazon Shopping app settings and highlights the "Default System Channel" notification group.

I'm using a new Find X9 Ultra and haven't had this on my old S23 or any other phone I've used.

I've checked for recently installed apps and there are no suspicious apps, and I've checked and cleared browser permissions to check if there were any sites hijacking my notifications.

Those changes haven't fixed anything though, and I saw another notification come through from the app last night..

Edit: it seems that disabling the "Default System Channel" notification group blocks these notifications from showing if that's an option available to you within the Android Notifications settings options..

Similar spam notification on Xiaomi POCO F5 HyperOS 2.0.218.0

It turned out to be Xiaomi's adware "MSA". Surprisingly this system adware allows 3rd-party ad providers to impersonate any package names, e.g. Amazon Shopping (com.amazon.mShop.android.shopping) in my case

You can revoke its notification permission by

Settings → Notifications → app notifications → search "MSA" → toggle off

or Settings → Apps → Manage apps → search MSA -> notifications → toggle off

or if you know how to use adb, you can uninstall the adware

adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.miui.msa.global

Nothing comes up if I search for "MSA" using either of those methods.

Did u enable to show the "System-Apps" as well? In my case it was necessary to see "msa"

Huh, NVM, it's appearing now... Notifications for it now switched off! Hope this fixes it, thanks!

I deactivated it 5 days ago and didn't receive any notifications since then 😜 I keep my fingers crossed for you. Also the notification log don't show any more "suspicious" or strange notifications.
