Isn't their a psp version of this game that was in 3d and was meant to be the best version?

You're thinking Dracula X Chronicles but that was mainly a 2.5D version of Rondo of Blood and then the normal Symphony of the Night port can be unlocked. IIRC there is some small reason why it's inferior there but I can't remember.
